	Unlike the Councils of [[Council of State\|State]] and [[Council of Territory\|Territory]] whose members are individuals chosen via [[Fortressian Elections\|elections]], membership in the Council of Labor is defined by law as consisting of craft [[Guild\|guilds]] representing various sectors and aspects of the economy. The specific individuals who act on behalf of their guilds in the day to day operation of the council are chosen by elections which take place in each guild. As with all advisory councils, these individuals must themselves be members of the [[Libertine Party]]. 			The [[Sergeant-at-arms of the Council of Labor]] is chosen from among the guild representatives to carry out certain ceremonial duties, such as announcing the arrival and exit of the Princess, as well as maintaining order during meetings of the council.

	The ~~Council of Labor maintains some additional organizations staffed by non-member civil servants to aid in its operation.
