LGBT rights in the Pillow Fortress

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) citizens and subjects of the Principality of the Pillow Fortress have all the same legal rights as do straight and cisgender citizens and subjects. Equal rights for LGBT individuals have been de facto the status quo since the earliest days of the Principality, as originally there were no laws of any kind and thus no basis for legal discrimination. LGBT rights became de jure with the promulgation of the State Charter which includes among its list of protected classes sexual orientation and gender identity. Though the acronym "LGBT" is often used as a shorthand, the protections granted by the State Charter go beyond just those four groups, and include the rights of asexual, pansexual, non-binary, etc. citizens and subjects as well.
