The Retirement Guild is one of the permanent members of the Council of Labor, representing those who are no longer working after having attained the age of retirement. While it may seem counterintuitive to include a guild of non-laborers on the Council of Labor, retirees still contribute to economic activity at a level to justify the inclusion.
