The Territory Development Branch of the Department of Territory oversees and coordinates the development of the Principality's provinces, colonies, and other territories in line with directives handed down by the Throne and/or the Directory. Not all, or even most, development within a territory need be the result of top down control from the branch, as organic growth is also appreciated, and fostering this growth where and when appropriate is also an important function of the branch.
