Telluria is the world outside of the Pillow Fortress, while Tellurian refers to either anything not of the Pillow Fortress or to non-Pillowans.
Etymology and Usage
The word "Telluria" derives from the Latin "Tellus" meaning soil or ground, and for three hundred years carried the meaning "of the Earth." Its adoption into Fortressian English as a xenonym for the outside is first attested in the year 7, seemingly in reference to a similar Aristasian usage. Telluria remained a colloquialism until the year 8, when the government began using it in an official capacity as shorthand for "the world outside the Pillow Fortress."
History
According to the most recent estimates, Telluria is approximately 13.8 billion years old and with unknown size and shape, of which only a section 93 billion light years in diameter is visible. For the vast majority of its history, it was not considered distinct from the universe, but Telluria became its own entity upon the founding of the Principality on January 20, 0/2018.
