Outwork is an intercalary period at the very end of the Fortressian calendar, after the month of Lunidor and before the month of Portcullose and the new year. Any and all additional days necessary to keep the Fortressian calendar synced to the Earth's 365 day year are placed in Outwork. In practice, this means that Outwork always has at minimum fifteen days, while in Gregorian calendar years with leap days, the number of days is sixteen instead.
Notable Events
Due to an error when calculating the conversion of the Fortressian and Gregorian calendars, Outwork 7 was slightly longer than it should be, containing seventeen days.
