The Year 7 was a turning point in Fortressian history, seeing the Principality's first ever elections, the abolition of the Pillow Fortress Real and its replacement by the Fortressian Sen, and the establishment of the Order of the Coast Guard. Meanwhile, the royal fact finding mission to Japan greatly influenced the direction of subsequent government-led development.
